A relaxing pipe puzzle for the whole family
The pipe game is a classic connect-the-pipes puzzle with a garden twist. In the middle sits a water tap; around it lie pipes of every shape, all turned the wrong way. Tap a pipe to turn it, and as soon as it joins the network, water rushes through and it turns blue. Connect every pipe and every flower in the garden blooms.
How the puzzle works
Every level is a single network of pipes that reaches every tile, with no loops and no open ends except the flowers. The game builds that network first and then turns each tile at random, so there is always a solution to find. Your job is to turn the pieces back until everything connects. The flower counter shows how many flowers already get water, so you can see your progress as you go.
Levels from easy to expert
- 3×3 and 4×4 gardens are quick to solve and perfect for children.
- 5×5 and 6×6 gardens need a little planning.
- 7×7 and 8×8 gardens are real logic puzzles, where every pipe on the edge gives you a clue.
Your level is saved on your device, and the Levels button lets you replay any garden you have reached.
Why pipe puzzles are good for the brain
Rotating pipes in your head before you tap them trains spatial thinking, the same skill used in Tangram and in many math and science tasks. Connecting a network also practises planning and reasoning from constraints: an edge pipe cannot point outward, a flower can only have one neighbour, and a straight pipe has just two positions. Children learn to use these clues step by step, and adults enjoy the calm, satisfying flow.
Tips to solve any garden
- Edges and corners first. They have the fewest possible positions.
- Follow the water. Work outward from the tap, one connected pipe at a time.
- Flowers are ends. Point each flower toward the network, never toward another flower.
- Use a hint when you are stuck; it fixes one pipe for you.

How to play Pipe Game
- Water starts at the tap in the middle of the garden.
- Tap a pipe to turn it a quarter turn. Pipes that are connected to the tap fill with blue water.
- Turn every pipe so the whole garden is connected and every flower gets water.
- Each level has exactly one network that joins everything, with no loops and no leaks.
- Stuck? Hint turns one pipe into its right place.
Pipe Game tips
Start at the edges
A pipe on the edge of the garden can never point outward, so edge pipes have fewer possible turns. Fix them first and the middle becomes easier.
Flowers are dead ends
A flower sits at the end of a single pipe. Two flowers can never point at each other, because then neither would reach the tap.
Straights and corners
A straight pipe has only two useful positions. If a straight pipe's neighbour already points at it, you usually know its direction at once.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play the pipe game?
Tap pipes to rotate them until every pipe connects back to the water tap. When all pipes are joined, water reaches every flower and the level is solved.
Is this pipe puzzle good for kids?
Yes. The first levels are 3×3 and 4×4 grids that children from about age 6 can solve, and they practise planning, spatial thinking and cause and effect. Later levels up to 8×8 challenge adults too.
Is every level solvable?
Yes. Every level is built from a complete pipe network that reaches every tile, and then the tiles are turned at random. There is always a solution.
Is the pipe game free?
Yes, it is free, runs in your browser on phones, tablets and computers, and needs no download or account. Your level is saved on your device.
