Golf Solitaire, free online
Golf is a quick, open solitaire: every card is face up, so it is all about planning the longest run from the columns to the pile. It gets its name from scoring, since the goal is to finish with as few cards left as possible.
Tap a card that is one rank up or down from the pile, tap the deck when you are stuck, and undo any move. Your best result is saved in your browser.
How to play Golf Solitaire
- 35 cards are dealt face up in seven columns of five. The other 17 cards form the deck, and one card starts on the pile.
- Tap the bottom card of any column if it is one rank higher or lower than the top card of the pile. Suits do not matter.
- Ace and King do not connect. Only a Queen can go on a King.
- When no card fits, tap the deck to turn a new card onto the pile. The deck goes through once.
- Clear all 35 cards to win. Like golf, the fewer cards you have left at the end, the better your score.

Look down the columns
Every card is visible, so plan whole chains before you start. A column like 5-6-7 can be cleared in one run.
Kings are dead ends
Only a Queen can follow a King, so clear Kings when a Queen is ready, and avoid putting a King on the pile early.
Keep options open
When two cards fit, play the one that leaves another move behind it, not the one that ends your chain.

The number of cards left on the table is your score, so lower is better. Clear everything and you win the hole.
Can Ace and King connect?
Not in this version. Golf is usually played without wrapping, which makes it harder than TriPeaks.
Can every game be won?
No. Many Golf deals cannot be cleared completely. Try to finish with as few cards left as you can.
